AnnFor more than 25 years, Ann Revell-Pechar has played an integral role in the introduction of more than 150 innovative technology and life sciences products and services, and has worked with VCs and non-profits to help companies grow. She is founder of A.Revell Communications – formerly Revell-Pechar, Inc., – which she co-founded in 1993 and has operated in Seattle, Baltimore, Atlanta and Wilmington, NC. She works closely with entrepreneurs, introducing innovations ranging from Aventail to F5, from NetNanny to Real Networks (now RealAudio) and managed the reputation of established firms from New Enterprise Associates to Ziff Davis Publishing and Alcatel-Lucent. She currently consults on communications strategies for CED, Smashing Boxes, Aqueti, FedTax, Stealz, and the Wireless Research Center of NC. Ann taught technical and professional communications at Rochester Institute of Technology and at Villa Julie College in Maryland. She has served on the Advisory Board for North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) and on the marketing committee for Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED, Chapter Board Chair and Executive Chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Atlanta, advisor to Technology Alliance of Georgia (TAG), Global Communications Chair for Digitainment Georgia, and on numerous advisory boards for business and technology in Seattle and Baltimore. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the State University of New York College at Brockport, where her focus was on Management Information Systems, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Seattle Pacific University.
